Get the desired breast size with breast augmentation.
Every woman wants to look proportionate with the appropriate size and shape of their breasts, neither small nor big to handle. We usually notice that women with small breasts or large size are overly conscious about their clothing choices and feel uncomfortable most of the times.
At Aestiva Clinic, we can help you get desired breast size with Breast Implants, also known as Breast Augmentation treatment. This procedure can be tailored to meet the patient’s expectations from the surgery. Breast augmentation is a cosmetic surgical procedure which involves placement of breast implants such as silicone or saline or transfer of fat. Breast enhancement is also known as Mammoplasty.
Who are the ideal candidates?
Women who want to restore the volume of breasts which was lost because of excessive weight loss or pregnancy.
Someone who wants to improve the symmetry between two breasts.
Women who want fullness and increased projection of their breasts.
If you are looking for the addition of balance to compliment your curvy hips.
Mammoplasty can also be considered if there’s a need to correct tuberous breast deformities.
The procedure of Breast Augmentation begins with general anesthesia. Then the incisions are made in unnoticeable areas to minimize the possibility of visible scarring. There are many options for incisions like:
Inframammary: This incision is around 4 to 5 cms long (depends on the size of the breast implant), placed in the crease below the breasts. This is unnoticeable area where it becomes almost invisible over a period of time.
Peri-areolar: This incision is more visible and noticeable as compared to inframammary incision. Therefore, it is less preferred. This incision is made around the nipple or at the junction between the areola and breast skin.
Axillary: This type of incision is more preferable as compared to the other two incisions. The incision is being made by surgeons using an endoscopic approach while they insert an implant via the axillary incision.
The type of incisions vary and depend on the degree of enlargement desired, your anatomy, type of breast implant, and preferences of both patient and surgeon. After placing the implants incisions will be closed.
Nothing lasts forever, but implants can last for a lifetime in many cases. However, there can be cases where the patients might get implant infection, capsular contracture, or implant leakage and in such situations the removal of the implant is necessary. Sometimes, a patient might want a bigger implant against correction of age related issues like sagging and stretching of breast skin.
Breast Implant is a surgical procedure performed by expert cosmetic surgeons with advanced surgical facilities, precautions, and techniques to avoid any future risk factors. But, it depends on the kind of surgery and the incisions performed whether or not it will interfere with breastfeeding. An incision around the areola is most likely to cause problems in breastfeeding. But, most of the implant incisions won’t create a problem in breastfeeding.
