The procedure

The procedure of breast lift surgery at Aestiva clinic starts with general anesthesia. Post which three incisions are made. First incision is made around the areola, the second one following the bottom to crease under the breast and the last incision follows the natural curve of the breasts. Then the underlying tissue is lifted to define the contours of the breasts. If required, the perimeter of the areola is also decreased. Once the reshaping is done, the incisions are sealed with sutures.

Post-procedure care

Patients are advised to sleep in an upright position and take ample of rest which is required for complete recovery. Smoking and alcohol shall be avoided because they will hinder the process of recovery as the sutures will take more time to heal. Healthy diet is recommended along with proper medication.

  • Inverted T pattern/Wise resection is preferred when there is a presence of significant amount of sagging skin. It involves a scar that resembles the letter ‘T’.
